• In the next month, once the Noor I project comes on-line, installed CSP capacity worldwide will reach 4,839 MW, from around 4,249 MW in the same quarter last year.

• The largest number of new CSP projects to be announced over the last three months was in China and South Africa

• Brazil has invited proposals for CSP R&D projects; Chile is auctioning 443 hectares of state-owned land for the development of renewable energy projects, including CSP; and China has invited proposals for the development of commercial CSP demonstration projects.
